Arrival & Stay
When can I check in?
Check-in is available from 2:00 pm and is carried out contactlessly using a door code. You will receive your welcome message with the door code and all important information 3 days before arrival by email.
Is there a reception desk?
Yes. Our reception is open daily from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Registration and payment take place on the morning after your arrival.
How do I receive my spa cards?
Your spa cards will be issued on the morning after your arrival during reception opening hours.
Is parking available?
Yes. A few parking spaces are available directly in front of the guesthouse. Additional parking is available on our large guest parking area behind the neighboring building at Norddeicher Straße 205 (Nordseeimmobilien). Directions are included in your welcome message. A parking map is also available at reception.
Do I need a parking permit?
No. There is no barrier and no parking permit is required.
When can I use the parking area?
Parking is available from 12:00 pm on the day of arrival until 12:00 pm on the day of departure free of charge.
Is there a bicycle storage area?
Yes. A bicycle garage is available behind the guesthouse for storing and charging bicycles and e-bikes.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes. Luggage can be stored at reception under the staircase.
Can I send my suitcase in advance?
Yes. Please specify “in front of the main entrance door” as the delivery location. Our staff will collect your luggage and store it until your arrival.
Breakfast & Services
When is breakfast served?
Our breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:30 am to 10:00 am.
Can I add breakfast at short notice?
Yes. Breakfast can usually be added upon arrival. During the main season, breakfast is already included in most standard rates.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property.
Rooms & Facilities
What amenities are included in the rooms?
All rooms feature a box-spring bed (180 × 200 cm), wardrobe, seating area, table with two chairs, kettle, private bathroom with shower and toilet, and a hairdryer. Complimentary Wi-Fi is included.
Are towels and bed linen included?
Yes. Towels and bed linen are included in the room rate.
Do the rooms have a balcony or terrace?
Yes. All rooms feature either a balcony or a terrace.
What is the difference between the room categories?
Our Standard and Superior rooms are located on the first and second floors. Rooms on the first floor are slightly larger, measuring approximately 22–25 m², while rooms on the second floor offer approximately 18–22 m² of living space.
Standard rooms face the street or gable side of the building. Superior rooms are located on the quieter garden side.
Our Terrace Rooms are located on the ground floor. Requests for a garden-side or street-side room can be accommodated subject to availability.
Can I reserve a specific room?
Yes. Subject to availability, we are happy to reserve a specific room or room location for you. A surcharge of €10 per night applies.
Is there an elevator?
No. Rooms on the first and second floors are only accessible via stairs. Ground-floor rooms can be reached via a small step at the main entrance.
Are there rooms on the ground floor?
Yes. Our Terrace Rooms are located on the ground floor and can be accessed via a small step at the entrance.
Are walk-in showers available?
Some rooms feature walk-in showers. However, they are not fully accessible for disabled guests. Rooms with walk-in showers can be requested subject to availability.
Are extra beds available?
Yes. An extra bed can be provided on request in double rooms on the ground floor and first floor. The surcharge is €30 per night including breakfast.
Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
No. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony or terrace.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are unfortunately not permitted at Pension Frisia.
Location, Booking & Payment
How far is the dike?
Pension Frisia is located directly at the dike.
How far is the beach?
Norddeich beach is approximately 500 metres away and can easily be reached on foot along the dike.
How far is the railway station?
Norddeich railway station is only about 300 metres from the guesthouse.
How far are the ferry terminals for Juist and Norderney?
The ferry terminal for Juist is approximately 200 metres away, while the terminal for Norderney is approximately 400 metres away. Both can easily be reached on foot.
What are the cancellation terms?
Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 60 days before arrival. After that, cancellation remains free of charge if the room can be re-let. If re-letting is not possible, 80% of the booking amount will be charged.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Payment must be received in our bank account before arrival. Our bank details can be found in your booking confirmation and welcome message.
